We want to honor the history of the region’s gastronomy: a mixture of people and cultures, that slowly merged, that mixed with each other and that knew how to put together the best that each one had. From there came dishes as special as the ‘açorda’ or the lamb stew.

We want to share the regional and so genuine flavors and everything that we know with all those who visit us. For this we rely on the experienced hands of Dona Hortense, who cooks traditional dishes daily, with Zé Grilo that teaches us how to make real Alentejo bread in the wood oven, and with several other people: the people of Santiago Hotel.

We want you to discover Alentejo – genuine and raw – in every gesture of ours.
