In a region whose gastronomic history is so dense and made up of innumerable layers, we have been inspired by the flavors, the ways of cooking and the products of the region.
In our kitchen we’re always open to teach everything we know, but also to learn from those who come to us. Here we all give a little of what we are, so that more than a simple hotel stay this can be a true gastronomic experience. For this we count on the years of experience and dedication of D. Hortense to the Alentejo cuisine, with Zé Grilo's mastery on the art of making bread, or with Kozi's hand for pastry and sweets.
Every month our Chef Daniel Censi carefully plans the activities so that they meet the expectations of those who visit us. There are culinary experiences every day, morning and afternoon, ranging from 1 to 3 hours and where you can learn how to make desserts, attend a smoothies culinary experience, a night around the Ofyr, or discover the secrets behind our wood oven.
In addition we founded the Santiago Cooking Academy, where you can enjoy masterclasses of two days and deepen your knowledge on a certain gastronomic theme.
